Cobb's Glen Tennis Mission Statement

The tennis program at Cobb's Glen is designed to develop skills and create an atmosphere of enjoyment for the game of tennis for people of all ages and skill levels.

About Cobb's Glen Tennis

The goal of the tennis program at Cobb's Glen is to develop skills and create an atmosphere of enjoyment for the game of tennis for people of all ages and skill levels.

Instruction is available for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players.  The program offers private and semi-private lessons as well as clinics for adults and junior players beginning at the age of three.

Socials are held every 1-2 months to give the opportunity to enjoy both tennis and fellowship. There is an on-site tennis pro shop where both tennis equipment and stringing of racquets are available. Cobb's Glen Country Club also serves as an official site for the Palmetto Championships, the Junior Qualifying Tournament for the State of S.C.

Tennis Tip of the Month:

When you are playing the net in doubles it is important to look for opportunities to poach. These are some situations to look for:

When your partner hits a good serve down the middle of the service box.

When there is a deep ball hit down the middle of the court.
When your opponents hit a weak return or shot.

We are very excited about courts two and three being resurfaced. These courts are playing great so please come and try them out.
